Shipping and Delivery Policy

At Alma Home&Decor, we take great care in delivering high-quality furniture and décor pieces to your home safely and efficiently. Below you’ll find all the relevant information about how we process, ship, and deliver your orders.

1. Shipping Areas

We currently ship to the following mainland destinations:

  • Portugal 

  • Spain 

  • France 

  • Germany 

At this time, we do not ship to islands or overseas territories.

If your region is not available at checkout, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you. It might be possible to ship to you, depending on the item and the region you are located, so feel free to reach out.

2. Order Processing Time

​

  • In-stock items are usually prepared and dispatched within 5 business days.

  • Made-to-order or artisanal items may take up to 15 business days, depending on the product and supplier.

  • Please refer to the product page for specific lead times, as some suppliers may require additional processing time.

If there is an unexpected delay with your order, we will keep you informed.

3. Shipping Methods & Delivery Services

​

Depending on the size, weight, and destination of your order, we work with:

  • Local courier services

  • National and international logistics providers

  • Specialised furniture carriers for large or fragile items

  • Carriers contracted directly by our suppliers

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

4. Delivery Options

​

Standard Delivery (Free)

All orders include free Standard Delivery.

Standard Delivery is made to the building entrance, street-level door, or ground-floor access point ("kerbside delivery").

Please note that Standard Delivery does not include:

  • Delivery inside the home

  • Delivery to a specific room

  • Carrying items upstairs

  • Assembly or installation services

This option is suitable for customers who can arrange to receive and move the products themselves after delivery.

 

Premium Delivery

For larger furniture items or customers who require additional assistance, Premium Delivery is available at checkout.

Premium Delivery includes:

  • Delivery inside the home

  • Placement of items in the room of your choice, where access allows

Premium Delivery is particularly recommended for apartment buildings, large furniture pieces, and heavy items.

Additional services such as assembly or installation may be available for selected products and locations. Please contact us before placing your order if you require these services.

5. Estimated Delivery Times

​

After dispatch, delivery typically takes:

  • Portugal (mainland): 3–7 business days

  • Spain (mainland): 3–7 business days

  • France (mainland): 5–10 business days

  • Germany (mainland): 5–10 business days

Delivery times may vary depending on product availability, supplier location, public holidays, weather conditions, and local carrier operations.

6. Shipping Costs

​

Standard Delivery

Free on all orders shipped to Portugal, Spain, France, and Germany (mainland only).

Premium Delivery

Premium Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, destination, and handling requirements of your order.

Any applicable Premium Delivery charges will be clearly displayed before payment.

7. Delivery Conditions

​

Please ensure that:

  • The delivery address provided is accurate and complete.

  • Someone is available to receive the order on the agreed delivery date.

  • Large items can fit through doorways, hallways, staircases, and elevators.

Alma Home&Decor cannot be held responsible for delivery failures resulting from incorrect information, inaccessible properties, or size restrictions within the property.

If no one is available to receive the order at the scheduled delivery time, the delivery may be considered unsuccessful and additional delivery charges may apply.

If you need to change a scheduled delivery date or time, please contact us as soon as possible.

8. Damaged, Missing, or Lost Items

​

We take every precaution to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition.

If you receive an item that is damaged, incomplete, or appears to be lost in transit:

  • Contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

  • Include clear photographs of the item and packaging.

  • Provide a brief description of the issue.

We will review each case individually and work to provide a suitable solution, including replacement, repair, or refund where appropriate.
